The owners planned to install a 2880 sq. ft. Linwood Custom Cedar Home on their property in Ben Lomond. Permitting and construction required the involvement of geologists, civil engineers, sanitarians, and soil engineers.
“Getting anything built in Santa Cruz County is complicated, and we couldn’t have built this house without Mike Bethke. My grandparents bought this land back in the 1930’s and we had to make our way through a number of engineering reports and permits to get a house on the site. The whole process of removing trees, grading the site, putting in a septic system and getting permits took about two and a half years—and Michael helped us throughout the process.
I trust the Slatter organization and am very pleased with the work they did. We bought a Linwood Custom Cedar Home and they customized it for this lot. There is real quality in all of the work that they do and I would recommend them without hesitation.”
